Is anybody as jazzed about this film as I am?

I've been watching the trailers since they started popping up way back when. So much so, that a week ago I ordered the hardback ART book of how the movie came to be and with all the behind the screens stuff from pre-production to principal filming and post production.

For all the former and current Mech-Warrior players out there, this is as close as we've ever been to having a movie to call our own. Yes, there was "Robot Jocks", but that will pail when compared to Pacific Rim.

So let it be written, so let it be done.

Those who can laugh without cause have either found the true meaning of happiness or have gone stark raving mad!

Well, I drove to Wichita Thursday night to see this a day early.

It was worth it!

Mind you, your not going to see an Academy Award level movie, unless your talking about the SFX.

But the story is good. It feels a bit rushed, but really Del Toro had enough stuff to do a trilogy and instead just did a one shot. Which is what most movie goers say they want.

I could go on, but I'm not sure if anyone here ius reading anyway. :-)

I'll close with, its a good popcorn movie! Have some fun for the afternoon and see this one.
