I recently discovered that there was a "Kick Starter" program for a stand alone version of Cortex+. It would aid in the hacking of the Cortex+ system to any style of game that you can imagine.
I wish I had a time machine to go back and jump in on this. Now I have to wait for them to finish and then can only buy the "PDF". Hard copies are only for those that got in on the program.
I do look forward though to reading the Hackers Guide to the Cortex+ System.
I've decided to use Cortex+ for my audio rich RPG's. The mechanics seem so much more fluid.

What's the cortex system? Is that what the new marvel game is run on?

The new Marvel RPG s built on the Cortex+ system.
Also, MWP has lost the rights to Marvel, so after April 30th they won't be putting out any new stuff. What's printed is it. Also the legal PDFs will be gone as well.
They are finishing the "Hackers Guide to Cortex+" which will allow us to use Cortex+ to tell any RPG story we want or need to. MWP owns the Cortex+ system so it will be around for a long time.
Their focusing on the new Firefly game now.

Well, MWP has finished the "Hackers Guide to Cortex Plus" and I ordered it on its first day. We'll see how long it takes to get here from the printers. I guess their using print on demand.
Also, I've had Amazon.com looking for all the Marvel books that had been published in hardcopy. I have all on their way, except the "50 States" book. They can't seem to find one of those for some reason. If anyone knows of a store in the area that has a copy please let me know.
