Cast members board shuttle craft to leave Earth under heavy protest. During takeoff, the airport was hit by a terrorist attack that resulted in 25% of the selected crew of the Genesis to not arrive.

On the way to space doc, Hemdal, the cast see the remnants of the bitter ravages of war from outside and inner threats. But on the horizon, the ship Genesis is poised and ready to make her exodus to a brave new world in hopes to save humanity.
Gerhard Schmitz
Gideon Kane
The cast unload from the shuttles, making their way to assigned quarters. This is their first time discovering who they will be spending their active time within close, crapped confines. They are also assigned their duties while on board the ship. But there is a ship wide announcement by the Captain before they make ready.
Jarl, Son of Greff
Lucius Jihar
General Quinton, head of security, welcomes the crew and reviews guidelines for the ship. General Evans, head of navigations, addresses the crew and what the some of the stratigies are for the Genesis. Finally, Head Captain, UN General Carlston speaks. It is a rousing speech, filled with hope to invigorate the crew to brave the unknown and triumph over adversity.

The crew is dismissed and the cast move to take on their delegated duties.
