Dungeon-World Online Night of Thursday RPGrs
This is the thread for info regarding the Thursday night game...

Tuesday April 15th let's plan on meeting online briefly to verify all web cams are working and everyone is comfortable with systems of play.
Should be no longer than 30 minutes.
That way Thursday night we'll be ready to rock and roll.
I'll send out session invites based off the logins you registered with Roll20.

Started in sparse woods stopped to make camp heard noise i search with jimbo, find rather obvious path, something large. also find bread crumbs in path.
it was a heavily armored dwarf angus mcgonagle!! seems friendly. has dog, but missing has elixir for stinkfeet very secure backpack
has map to treasure places closest place is tower 2 days away cravasse about a week away, supposed to be a door to "hell" mountain range "NASTEE BEESTEES LIVE HEER"
there was a warg he was bad he ran away brought an army we are running split the party
evaded my and andel's tails, made it to rock formation looks like cliff dwellings
Flint lays dog down, Angus searching for something on the dog Daelwyn has a bit of parley, takes coin, tells everyone anyway.
there was trap, sparrow disabled, but set of SILENT ALARM sparrow found door higher up, but bailed due to bad feels
found cave in back, broken tool and saddles, appears to be stables i found no entrances or exits saddles are not horse saddles, look to be used for some kind of lizards be on the lookout for falling rocks (something from high up) stable seems defensible making camp
sending small party to search area where dog was found in middle of night while angus sleeps

-=SECOND SESSION START=- scouting party returns with piece of triforce and tiny mace thing
angus wasnt really sleeping
Andel infiltrates, goes okay little man inside is gruff comes out to stomp on trap we end up going inside
hes nice. name of creature who lives in rock tower: Cal-den-tea
sends a mini me after angus and daelwyn
angus is nowhere to be seen
300 years after "the great catastrophe" - pangaea breaking up - cities swallowed in the sea, kingdoms fell
Cal-den-tea is the elder of the house, says tiny man angus shows up
the house: top level:Large library, observatory main level: study, great hall, kitchen, small pantry, dont remember what is down other hallway lower level: workshop. triangular. probably underground. bottom level:armory
daelwyn starts to play horn, little guy loves music we start exploring the house, sparrow gets caught up in happy book , escapes blaidd and Flint go up to observatory flint stands on blaidd's shoulders to try to look in directino we came from saw 11 humanoids in one of three dustclouds, looking for tracks got dizzy, fell over. got papercut.
daelwyn wanders around first level. goes towards study. feels eyes watching from behind trying to be distraction cal-den-tea, despite trying not to enjoy himself, is tapping his foot.
lizard is still waiting and listening
sparrow trying to blend in and watch angus.
flint get on blaidds shoulders again
polished granite tower to the north 200 ft in diam 7 stories tall in clearing the goes 200 yards from tower, then forest.
between us and the tower is very dense forest, about two miles long. so dense, no light. probably bad idea.
zeetaphye is the mini me.
zeetaphye learns from daelwyn how to make horn noises witha funnel
angus stands up and goes down the stairs.
sparrow follows down to workshop. all kinds of special tools. angus is pretending he doesnt know hes being followed.

The Tower of Mef-o-phezda is the tower. Mephophesda is some kind of undead. current legend says that if you get there on the weekends, its bad. week is better. the deeper you go, the harder it gets.
cravasse about a weeks march north past tower unsure information! Zarf's Gash 1mile long 1\4 mile wide at widest spot at least 5 miles deep it is reported to be one of the gateways to hell advise to avoid
mountains to the east, "many Beestee" Tam Mazaa mountains, running E-W 200 mi long "beware of the dwarf wars and the warrior witches of the west"
Angus is not telling us about a fourth place on his map.
we leave, zetaphi comes with us, we head towards tower
make it through to tower, dark forest was very scary.

approach tower, floor turns into a waterbed. remember it's saturday, book it for the edge of the clearing
make camp flint hunts, finds humanoid tracks, fresh
return, make camp, post watch
dawn, flint and sparrow make out noises
it was another group of adventurers, they get gobbled by traps
zetaphye doesnt breathe when he sleeps, the group speculated on what he might be. BLAIDD SLEPT GREAT
it's monday!
enter the tower
go to octagon room, doors at NSEW, cieling looks like swirling paint, possibly not solid.
there is a trap, stone in the floor, sparrow points it out
oak doors with knots growing out like doorknkobs
daelwynn tries to open a door, doesnt open, but hear click. gaseous form emerges from center of the floor its a human shape, 7ft tall wizard, robe and wizard hood
Mephophesda welcomes us, says there is great wealth here.
basically its a game. if we beat the dungeon we get the loot
daelwynn opens north door, room is mostly junk
daelwynn goes in, followed by blaidd
still junk
rot grubs attack
burrow into the feet of blaidd and daelwyn they escape room and shut door
we burn and squish the remaining grubs, angus finishes them off with one of his foot potions
daelwyn opens w door
its got trees and plants
exit door is seals
we go up the stairs, dael leading.

Game 5 made it up the stairs, looking back down the stairs is only black, stairs went 180 at top wall is on other side than expected room is dark, small camp fires around room floor is crunchy, dirt rocks and long white items (bones) some dangerous is above us in the room, Z went ahead and felt something rub against him and we all blotted back to the stairs might be a spider Z pulled a web off himself, we fired arrows and they never hit anything found out fires were glowy baby spiders Z chased after one and we followed we found him just as he got one and he put it in his bag, we went that way some more and started climbing a hill (of bones) spider attacked found out it talks and we killed it using a potion angus gave us noone hurt saw a door went to it failed to open it and noticed the dead spider moving away think being pulled by some tenticles we saw got the door open trigered trap and matrix style avoided it, everyone got to the other side we closed the door and marked it, then we all lvled

Healing yourselves Zetafi jumped at the chance to cook for the party.
Flint received arrow shafts, and two bags, one that sounds metallic and one that falls twice as slow as the other this comes from the red head that met them before. Wooden shafts from super straight wood and feathers that float away if not carful.
Blaidd recieves a prayer and a bag as well. Powders for healing and two viles one, red and one blue.
The dwarf walks over to Andel, says good luck, and starts to turn away, but the red head tells him that he needs to let her have it... its a small bag that he tosses to her feet, Andel says thank you, and starts to open the bag
Blaidd rolls decern reality (12) viles are healing potions, everything is what it appears to be, and the blue vile is a lesser healing potion and the red vile makes a major healing potion.
Blaidd is putting the powder on his ankle and then the blue liquid on top. It healed him 3. he has about 6 oz of liquid for each vile and the powder looks like ash from a fire.
Andel opens the bag and finds tiny bits of bone, with carvings on them. Rolls an 8. she realizes that the are gateway runes, you throw one out then you throw the other one out it works like a portal. You go in one, then out the other. There are 8 pairs of portal stones.
Flint rolls 11-diserns that they are arrows of striking true, the do double damage than normal d8- 2d8.
The light in the area does not deminish with time, making it hard to tell what time of day it is... three days go buy, no sign of the menitar... everyone is weary but still getting ready.
Blaidd rolls badly to detect alignment for Angus. Angus stops what hes doing, and asks him what the hell hes doing. Blaidd whats to try again, Angus threatens to break his hand before he casts the spell. XP1
Flint is going over to look at the staircase, big red intercepts him. Red said everytime someone steps closer to the staircase it triggers an event. Flint asks red how close he has to get to trigger something. 5 feet. Red grabs Flints butt as he walks past her. She says stay alive ranger...
Zetafi has been cooking for everyone.
Another day goes by, andel goes looking for animals...
two more days go by, flint walks to the perimeter of the room to explore the room that they are stuck in.... the wall has vines and moss growing on it with ooze... Flint is poking the wall with a stick... discern realities roll 10 Three questions the wall is not a wall, you should be on the look out for a way out, and the scrub brush is valuable to him.
Blaidd communed again, he is going to go talk to Skellitor, he worships Bantu. Bantu is a great god of knowledge of healing and he is testing this group. He thinks the two gods are working together. Rolled 11 to find out about him. Bantu is a god of small stature but is wideliy know in most of the world some ppl worship him because of his knowledge others worship him for his healing abilitys, and how he teaches to anyone not just his followers, he appears to be about 2.5 feet tall in physical form. Bliadd learned about several deaties along his path of finding Skoll. Skoll wants to be as widely known as Bantu but doesnt agree with his method of teaching to everyone.
Flint rolls a 5 to try to figure out what to do with the scrub brush.... he can sit on it...XP1 Goes to Andel, and tell her that he thinks they can get out of here, with the scrub brush. Flint showes Andel what he found over by the wall.
Blaidd wants to thank the guy who gave him the bag and asks his name but does not give it …. he belieaves that buy giving Blaidd his name would be giving Blaidd power over him...
Andel spouts lore on the wall. XP1
Flint rolls to decern realities 12 -is going back to the wall to inspect the slime, Its eating away at the stick, Flint drops the stick, be on the look out on a way to harnes the slime, the slime is coming from beyond his eye sight high up on the wall, its about ½ o ¾ of an inch thick, its pooling on the ground and eating the ground. Blaidd- decern realities on the scrub brush, 10. this brush is a type of wood that burns hotter than average wood, no last question.... goes to look around for stuff that isnt shrubs..... looking for something unnatural. Constitution modifier+2d6=12, finds what looks like an iron ring in the dirt... Zetafi comes up and grabs the ring but is unable to pick up the ring...Blaidd pulls the ring and it has a door... a cloud escapes and is getting bigger. Blaidd steps back, more doors pop open in 4 more spots.... Flint runs to the others, to ask if theyve seen this before, red says to prepare yourselves.... Blaidd goes back to the hatch to open it and look in... The ground starts to rumble, tentacles start coming through each of the black holes.
Flint spouts lore... but is interrupted buy two firey creatures from the staircase... the are about 75 feet in the air... Flint dips an arrow in the slime and shoots it at the closest tentical, its shudders, and starts to point at flint, 8 damage to the tentical. Its swings in Flints direction, Flint rolls away. It striks the ground and hits hard... It is injured so its not flaying as hard.
Blaidd casts magic weapon on his staff, and heads toward the stairwell to fight and invited everyone in the camp to join him...
